The Jacksonville Jaguars have released Jason Myers following his missed field goals in two of the past three games.
Myers missed a 52-yard field goal attempt against the Jets and a pair of 54-yard field goals against hte Rams.
The Jaguars will sign Josh Lambo to replace him.
The Jaguars opted to keep Myers over fan favorite Josh Scobee, who also is the team's all-time leading scorer (1,022), because of his strong leg and he had a rough season as a rookie in 2015.
NaVorro Bowman and the Oakland Raiders have agreed upon a one-year, $3 million deal.
Bowman was released by the San Francisco 49ers last week.
Bowman will get his full salary from the 49ers in addition to the contract with the Raiders.
The San Francisco 49ers had agreed upon a trade of NaVorro Bowman to the New Orleans Saints for a seventh round draft pick. But the 49ers backed out of the deal when they learned Bowman preferred to become a free agent and choose his next team.
"Lots of teams [are] trying to sign" Bowman now that he's a free agent, according to one source, and it will take "a few days" for him to make a decision.
The 49ers also spoke with the Ravens, Browns and Panthers. The Oakland Raiders are another possible destination as a contending team that wouldn't force Bowman to relocate.
The San Francisco 49ers have released NaVorro Bowman.
"Thursday evening, [49ers coach] Kyle [Shanahan] and I met with NaVorro, and from our conversation it became evident that going in different directions was best for both him and our team," 49ers general manager John Lynch said in a statement. "Although NaVorro may be moving on, he will always be looked at as one of the great players to wear the red and gold. We wish him and his family great success."
The 49ers were shopping Bowman in trade talks earlier on Friday.
A knee injury kept Bowman out for the entire 2014 season, and an Achilles injury ended his season in 2016 after just four games.

Mike Mularkey said familiarity was the biggest factor in the Tennessee Titans' decision to sign Brandon Weeden.
The Titans considered several quarterbacks but not Colin Kaepernick.
"I'm not aware if there was," Mularkey said of interest in Kaepernick. "I know he's not familiar with our offense. I know T.J. Yates had some experience with it in Atlanta and with us for a couple of weeks."
The Titans' front office makes decisions on who to bring in for workouts. Mularkey cited Weeden's time in Dallas with offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, who Mularkey pulled from to create his scheme, as a prime source of familiarity.
"As quickly as we could get somebody up to speed in a short amount of time, he had the advantage over everybody," said Mularkey, who said Weeden "threw the ball well" Wednesday. "Formationally and schematically, it's very similar."
The Tennessee Titans have signed Brandon Weeden on a one-year deal.
Weeden will likely play a supporting role to Matt Cassel. Weeden was released by the Texans before the start of the season.
Weeden turns 34 in two weeks.
The Tennessee Titans worked out Brandon Weeden, Matt Barkley, Matt McGloin and T.J. Yates with Marcus Mariota day-to-day with a hamstring injury.
The Titans didn't include Colin Kaepernick or Robert Griffin III in their workout despite their fit as a mobile quarterback similar to Mariota.
Matt Cassel is the only other quarterback on the Titans' roster while Tyler Ferguson is on their practice squad.
